FAQ's
Below you will find my most commonly asked questions. If clarification is needed, please feel free to contact me via email at mickimiller@coastalatlantictherapy.com, I would be happy to talk with you!

-
Do you accept insurance?
No, I am considered an out of network provider. Full session fees are due at the time of service. I will, however, provide a Superbill to include the proper information you will need to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. If you are reimbursed/the rate at which you are reimbursed is dependent on your individual insurance plan. I urge to you to reach out to your insurance provider to inquire further about this if you have plan-specific questions. My clients have found this process to be straight-forward.

-
Will we meet in-person or virtually? How often?
At this time, I offer remote sessions only via a HIPAA compliant platform called Simple Practice. It is preferable to meet once per week, with the potential to increase (with more severe need) or decrease to bi-weekly/as-needed over time.

What type of clients do you work with?
I work with adults (18+) and couples of any race, culture or identity that are located in Maryland or Washington, D.C. I will consider teenagers (15+) on a case-by-case basis. I strive to create an inviting, non-judgmental space for people of all walks of life.
I look forward to working with you, soon!
